The Summer Infant Best View Monitor
After I went searching for baby clothes, along with other products, while I was still pregnant with my baby boy, I went out looking for a baby video monitor that would suit my needs as a mother. We, my husband and I, had just set up the nursery for the baby and I desired a baby monitor so that I could keep an eye on my child wherever I had been in the house. I used to be fine with using audio monitors but now they aren’t really good enough for me ever since video monitors were made. I reckon that baby video monitors are better due to the fact that you can literally see what your child is doing while in their nursery. And so I went on the internet and searching for video baby monitors as well, and in my search I discovered the Summer Infant monitor.
The Summer Infant Best View monitor allows you to constantly watch your baby while he or she is in their crib. Video baby monitors are especially helpful when babies are able to move in the crib. You get to see what your baby is doing, unlike in audio monitors, where you only get to hear them but not see. The Best View monitor by Summer Infant has a very sleek design, and the camera can be mounted anywhere you desire. You have to put the monitor in a strategic place where the whole crib is seen and its surrounding areas.
The best thing about the Summer Infant Best View Handheld Color Video monitor is that it can catch feeds from up to four cameras so you do not have to worry about where your baby is. You can put up a camera in all the rooms in your house and monitor your baby’s activities with the handheld monitor that you can bring along wherever you are in the house. I have tried it and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations. The battery life is also amazing. I only have to charge once a day, sometimes even once in two days.
You may be thinking that a baby monitor like this seems too good to be true, however, there are things that I’ve discovered that require some improvement. One such thing is the video quality. It isn’t that good because I was expecting some form of high definition results. I’ve been disappointed with other minor annoying features but the video quality is, in my book, its major flaw.
As I look at my baby right now on the monitor, I marvel at how far we’ve come in technology when it comes to baby’s safety. It gives me comfort knowing that, with this Summer Infant monitor, I can be with my baby all the time.
