my 4 month old coughing for 3 weeks, what can i do?

My baby boy has a horrible cough, vomiting and a runny nose for 3 weeks now. Took him for his doctor appointment for his 4 month shot, but didn’t get it because i told the doctor of his cold it was congestion he had. I was given Amoxicillin, after his appointment at 10 30pm i gave my son that medicine wich 20 min later he cried for almost 2hrs wich i decided to rush him to the hospital, but he was fine no fever. x rays showed normal. the hospital didnt agree that i should of gave him the med even thou its no harm for him his cries could of bin colic so they said it could be Bronchiolitis. so i stoped the med, came back for his fallow up in 2 weeks still with the sickness so another fallow up was given for a week wich is coming up and my son still sick(no fever).

When you go to the follow up appointment ask the doc if he/she thinks the baby has asthma. That could explain the cough.
