How much would it cost to have a car painted either candy apple red or baby pink?

tomorrow i am getting my very first car, a jaguar xj6. it’s a reddish color and i would like to paint it either candy apple red or baby pink. how much money would this usually cost? some people say THOUSANDS but my friend got her focus painted for 300 and it looks incredible. do colors like this cost more? thanks
